What is a template?

Prior to the fabrication of granite or quartz your kitchen will need to be templated. This involves one of our staff visiting your home to digital laser template your worktops. During this process we will also confirm the exact positions of any sinks, hobs etc. These items will need to be on site prior to template date.
What must I have on-site when you arrive to do the templating survey?

Before the survey you need to ensure all cabinets are level have sufficient braces and are secured firmly to the wall. Make sure you know the final location of sinks, hobs taps or any other fittings required and have these available on site. Please ensure after the survey cabinets are not moved as the measurements taken during the survey are crucial for a perfect worktop installation. Any changes after the survey can cause significant delays and incur extra charges. 
As I am just replacing my existing worktops, do these need to be removed prior to templating?

No it is not essential but it is always better to have them removed if possible as this enables better accuracy with our digital laser.

Please note when we return to install the new granite worktops the existing worktops need to be removed, also sinks, taps and hobs should all be disconnected before our fitters arrive.

Do I need to be home when you carry out the template and installation?

Yes, we need somebody at the premises to allow access and discuss your design requirements. We would always prefer you to be on site so that you can answer any queries we may have and approve the finished product.
What is the time span from template to installation

Normally installation is carried out 5 working days from templating.
How do I place an order?

Once you are happy with the quote submit your details on the online quote page or fax your order. A member of staff will be in contact with you to confirm the order and arrange a survey.
How and when do I pay?

We ask for 50% of the cost when we carry out the template. The balance on completion of the installation.
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept BACS transfer, cheques or cash. No credit cards.
Can I take a look at actual samples?

Yes, we can bring samples when we template or alternatively you can visit our showroom.
